Where did you learn that piece of theological ca-ca? Jesus was God and Jesus was a fully biological male. Read a Book.
We know that.
Because that is how HE revealed HIMself to us.
When God chose to take on human nature HE became a MAN. Not a woman or a sexless "it". A MAN.
YES. If you claim to be Christian, you cannot deny that.
Who and, more importantly, what do you say that Jesus of Nazareth is?
Yet some Christians do deny it, and therein lies the confusion. Different people have different ideas about the nature of God and still claim to be Christian.
I don't see how they can [deny God's true nature], given the abundant evidence from scripture.
One prominent Christian I talked to claimed that God "could be" a woman. I was surprised at this, but she spoke as if nobody really knows what God is like because no one has seen God.
Who and, more importantly, what do you say that Jesus of Nazareth is?
I personally believe John 3:16 (Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of God.)
To me that means both God and His son Jesus Christ are male.
But not everyone believes that.
I know I’m a teen, but to me GOD is neither gender... These morons are really getting crazy...
“God has three persons;”
God is God. Not a person.
No, you’re wrong. Jesus was fully God, but God was neither human nor biological. Be wary of creating God in your own image.
Completely and utterly crazy...and stupid, I may add
I don’t know anymore, everything is just going completely crazy, where are we heading with this madness?
why don’t you take a theology class? almost every Christian denomination acknowledges the Trinity — three persons in one God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus was fully God and fully man, and Jesus is part of the Trinity. God is the Trinity and therefore God has a part of His Nature that is male and biological. Ask yourself where Jesus and his fully human body eent when he sscended into Heaven...
Did God predate Jesus? Jesus’s humanity wasn’t
there until he was born with it.
Did the Ascension therefore introduce gender
into a previously gender-less yet unchanging God?
Or do we backdate the Incarnation to have always
been there? I can see why this stuff takes
a lot of faith.
God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit always existed. God is always the same; therefore, Jesus was always the same — God doesn’t change.
Therefore, Jesus’ body (and his gender) ascended back to the Trinity; this had to be so, because God doesn’t change. The Incarnation was just a moment in time (and history), but God doesn’t exist in time, He is infinite.
“This argument cannot be broken.”
Does this mean Jesus was a trannie?
but God doesnt exist in time
“God has three persons; the 2nd person is Jesus, a male. Sorry you missed this detail...”
hmmm. Father, Son, Holy Ghost.
Are you saying only the Son is male?
