YES. If you claim to be Christian, you cannot deny that.
Who and, more importantly, what do you say that Jesus of Nazareth is?
Yet some Christians do deny it, and therein lies the confusion. Different people have different ideas about the nature of God and still claim to be Christian.
I don't see how they can [deny God's true nature], given the abundant evidence from scripture.
One prominent Christian I talked to claimed that God "could be" a woman. I was surprised at this, but she spoke as if nobody really knows what God is like because no one has seen God.

I personally believe John 3:16 (Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of God.)
To me that means both God and His son Jesus Christ are male.
But not everyone believes that.
