People post photographs of different vehicles that hit the rock when trying to turn the corner of the parking lot.
One person said they traveled 36 miles to just to see it.
The rock is rated a five out of five on its Facebook page. One person said the rock is the, "Best thing to happen in Roselle."

For a good time in DuPage County, check out the "Rock of Roselle".
Admission is free!
Do Roselle drivers get “Blind” on their driver’s licences?
Do Roselle drivers get Blind on their drivers licences?
Not currently, there are a few local establishments that for a nominal fee will, will get them blind.
There is a sign in front of the rock for a tow company for those who hit the rock. And people still get stuck on the rock every few days!
36 miles isnt much of a road trip.
There are many more like this to trap unsuspecting motorists. My wife’s new Ford Taurus almost rolled over onto another motorist 6 feet below us in the drive through at the Dunkin’ Donuts near the Greater Pittsburgh Airport (Address: 830 Beaver Grade Rd, Coraopolis, PA 15108)
The edge of the parking lot pavement above the shop is unmarked; the concrete shoulder bears the marks of multiple vehicles doing the same thing. Repeated calls to the franchise manager and the head office were not returned. Employees said “Oh yeah, the same thing happens twice a month or so”. Nice, huh?
Not that funny. They’re laughing way too much.
It’s in the middle of a divider between two curbs.
Only an idiot would drive over it.
Those are some seriously poor drivers!
This is the biggest event since the tree in car capper, a few years back.

Our daughter called to say that is her PizzaHut of choice in the background, and she has NEVER noticed the rock!
I was going to say, I drive that to town to get groceries or go to the doctor.
36 miles is a short daily commute in many locales.
My question is this. If the rock wasn't there to snag vehicles, would people still drive over the curbs like that in a parking lot? If not, why are they driving over the curbs with a big rock in the way? Or is this just some FB game?
Were you in the area for the shootout?

somebody will steal it
Like the famous Stone of Scone theft?
On Christmas Day 1950, four Scottish students from the University of Glasgow (Ian Hamilton, Gavin Vernon, Kay Matheson and Alan Stuart) removed the Stone of Scone from Westminster Abbey in London and took the Stone back to Scotland
Nope. But Mrs. L and I were at Buffalo Rock yesterday blowing off a thousand rounds or so.
Good times
