oh yeah
everybody gets the same rights, if your rights are violated they are addressed the same way that everybody else is. There is no need for the concept of X rights for this and Y rights for that and it is in fact antithetical to the concept of equality.

I HATED the HATE laws as soon as they were enacted.

I work with folks who tell me blacks don’t like lighter colored blacks.
Who is to decide what the motive was behind the murder?
My husband checked into the University of Washington hospital and I had to answer questions for him...including which pronoun he preferred to be called.
I told the admissions person that I thought it was ridiculous and he said he was sorry but he had to ask.
Do we need to move to Poland to get sanity?
Not equal rights. Special privileges.
Crazy. But if it was the government making the admissions person ask that, it’s a first amendment violation. He could sue if he got fired for it.

My experience was different.
I was working in a retail Store and some people who were very black,
Came into the store.
My black coworkers were practically sneering at them.
They were talking about how black they were.
I was shocked.
It seems like the communists in the old USSR spread their stupid ideology all over the world but forgot to disseminate it in their own backyard.
Colorism among black groups was a theme in Spike Lee’s film School Daze, which is based on his experiences at Morehouse College. It’s a weird thing.
Someone finally speaking out! Maybe he is taking a page from our President! Stating what the people are saying not the political correct words.
Out here in flyover country it’s been common knowledge that there is an unwritten caste system among dark skinned people themselves, which is based upon darker and lighter shades of brown and black.

Whoever thought we’d see the day when we longed to be in the place the former Eastern Bloc nations are today.
