Rotten Tomatoes is starting to show grades for this movie. Early on, the overall rating is 98%. Subject to change, obviously.

Never watched The Simpsons eh? It certainly wasn’t intended for kids.

Call me a geek, but the attitude of your comment really does these movies and their fans a disservice. For example Captain America and Ironman are two characters that have had very clear character development arcs that reach their conclusion in this movie.

These arcs have something to say about the human condition, how people are motivated and how those motivations change their actions. Those stories are wrapped in dazzling superhero costumes, but like the Greek myths, the Geek myths are reflections on our humanity.

Dude, it’s a comic book movie with a walking tree and talking raccoon in it.

In the ramp-up to seeing Endgame, I borrowed the Marvel movies I don’t have from my daughter and watched the series from start to finish.

Enjoyed most of them except for the snarky white-people comments in Black Panther and the god-awful Spider Man. Ant Man was kind of wimpy, but with this much super hero-ness around, he was kind of a relief and fit.

The people were likeable (don’t miss the sweet guy named “Happy”) and except for Captain America (he’s perfect, dontcha know!), had foibles like most people.

In Endgame, Captain Marvel came across as an angry person, nothing female about her.

All-in-all, we enjoyed Endgame, will see it again tomorrow to catch what we missed!
