"Avengers: Endgame" is finally here.

The epic grand finale of the Marvel Cinematic Universe chapter was officially unveiled at the world premiere Monday night at the Los Angeles Coliseum. As the lights went up, the thundering ovation started and the entire cast gathered under the screen to take a bow in front of an audience of fans including Matt Damon and Kevin Hart.

"I cried like six times," Chris Evans (Captain America) told the audience.

“I cried, I think more than 6 times,” added Chris Hemsworth (Thor).

While the full movie reviews will come in Tuesday, the first social media reactions from Monday's premiere were effusively positive.

This movie will break every record....and rightly so.

Marvel has done a fantastic job with these characters and storylines.

I think they’ve just barely scratched the Marvel storyline, and they could crank out a Marvel product every four weeks. They’ve yet to introduce Squirrel Girl, Sub-Mariner, or Emma Frost. They’ve got enough comic material for at least forty years of movie production.

I haven’t seen any of the other Avengers movies. Can I just start with this one?

You should follow the developments for Disney+, their streaming service.

Disney has already pledged to a continuing series for the Scarlett Witch & Vision. Another series for Falcon & Bucky. Another series for Hawkeye.

Supposedly, the cast from the movies will appear in the continuing series and, unlike the Netflix Marvel series, these will tie back into future movies as well.

I would recommend that you see Avengers: Infinity War at least before seeing this.

But you should watch all 22 movies starting with Iron Man in 2008.

I wouldn’t mind if they did Micronauts or Shogun Warriors.
Off (kind of) topic...
IMDB has the cast list beginning with all female actresses for the first four.
Someone entered in the questions section: “Why is Brie Larson top billed when she’s only been in one Marvel movie?”
LOL!

Enjoyed a lot of their movies, mostly Deadpool and Thor. But no longer going to watch any of their movies, sick of the SJW stuff and actors comments.

Besides, we all know how this movie will end so the suspense is kinda gone. Just like with Captain Marvel, she is so overpowered there is no suspense.

My observation over Brie Larson/Capt Marvel....the storyline and Fury carried the bulk of the movie. Larson, basically plays Larson. My bet is that she’ll do Ok in this piece, and maybe one more sequel/movie, then she gets dumped.

Most Oscar nominatoins?
Highest Rotten Tomatoes rating of all time?
Quickest passage into the Library of Congress’ National Film Registry?

Or are you just talking box-office records that only matter to people with Disney stock or own a movie theater?

Yeah. Of course. Just don’t ask questions. And for goodness sake, don’t call Rocket a raccoon.

Lolol... That comment has me rolling Erik.. Thanks! There are a ton of these comic book movies.
I find them entertaining in general with the exclusion of Spider Man which has had too many reboots..Imho.

The box office is the only proper measure of a movie as it expresses the will of the free market.

If you rely on the opinion of the Oscars, Rotten Tomatoes or the Library of Congress, then you put your faith in mostly leftists.

I'll take capitalism every time!

I grew up with comic books. I generally like super heroes. I like action movies. I like explosions.

I do not like the Marvel movies. They seem to feature people being thrown about 500 feet only to then crash through a brick wall which shatters completely from the force. Then the person stands up and gets back into the fight. The Good Guy crashes through a wall. The Bad Guy crashes through a wall. And this goes on for 5 or 10 minutes until — what a surprise! — the bad guy fails to get up after crashing through a wall. Yay!

I don’t even see the point.
