Strange Things Happening Every Day

Bees are good with smoke. Very good. They go into "forest fire" mode, a mode used by all beekeepers for hive maintenance.
At the first whiffs of smoke, the bees drive deeper into their hives and gorge on honey. When the fire panic dies down, they re-deposit the honey. If the panic does not, and the fire really threatens with flames and heat, they "swarm" away looking for a new home.
Anything improbable has now become the definition of a miracle - instead of the supernatural.
L’Abeille de Notre Dame de Paris. C’est tres apropos.
Wrong kind of a miracle. The kind that was needed was the miraculous extinguishing of the fire. Didn’t happen. So God knows how to save bees but can’t put out a small fire?
