Talk radio giant Rush Limbaugh on Thursday discussed POTUS Donald Trump’s latest threat to shut down the U.S.-Mexico border in order to deal with rising numbers of illegal aliens who are stretching border and customs’ resources past the breaking point, noting that if he were to do that and build portions of a wall, he would become unbeatable next year.
In an interview with another talk show behemoth, Sean Hannity, on the latter’s Fox News program, Limbaugh said that the president has to “zero in on immigration,” despite POTUS’ desire for the “Republican Party to become known as the party of health care” instead, hitting on an issue near and dear to voters’ hearts in 2018.
“[Health care] is a tangible thing that really matters to every human being,” he said.
However, Limbaugh notes that Trump was elected primarily on a platform to build a border wall and to address illegal immigration and all of its ancillary issues like sanctuary cities, birthright citizenship, and so forth.

the wall is being built already. Don’t believe the media. I have seen it. They are starting in the areas that already have horrible sections of useless barrier, and replacing it with the amazing wall Trump said he would build. They will work out the kinks there and then replicate it everywhere else they want sections.

How about going after demand side and have ICE, DoJ, IRS go after the businesses that employ the illegals. That crime exists in USC and it would go a long way to making illegals pause before trying to cross.

Shut the whole thing down and Mexico would fold in no time. Mexico must stop them at their southern border and do whatever else is necessary.

I have said many times...
There are only 2 things that can stop Trump from being re-elected.
1 would be a complete economic collapse before November 2020.
The other would be that his supporters start to perceive him as not putting America First.
It is highly unlikely EITHER of these things are going to happen.
Trump is on target to win re-election by the largest margin since Reagan.
My wish is that between now and 2024, that the GOPe, and its money men will be slaughtered, so that once Trump is gone we don’t wind up sliding back to two parties who don’t give a damn about America.
Cut off benefits and employment and 75% would leave on their own.
