Sarah Palin was spotted at the Spurs vs. Denver Nuggets game on Monday, but that's not all she did during her Texas jaunt.
The 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate visited daughter Bristol and grandson Tripp in Austin, where they live. Palin and Tripp made the drive to watch the Spurs in action. In an interview with the San Antonio Express-News, the former Alaska governor raved about watching Gregg Popovich's coaching and how "fun" watching the team regroup is.
In addition to witnessing the Spurs' 104-103 nail-biter win, she also posted a series of photos to prove "God blessed Texas."
"Why I just (love) popping into Texas: can practice out front door .17-cal Savage, ammo zipping 3000'/sec; youth football YEAR'ROUND; real cowboys in local cafes (southern drawl, got a little dirt on their boots, most polite guys in the country!); kids outside OFF THEIR PHONES riding bikes, etc YEAR 'ROUND," she captioned photos of herself with family and Texans.
The pictures and captions riled up Texas pride from Instagram users in the comments section of her post.

Pop is an ass.
I still am looking for that photo shopped picture of her changing her shoes as she exits down the steps of Air Force One.
What rifle is that and look at that clip?
Saw the answer myself when I reread the article.
.17 cal Savage.
Savage A17.
Was really nice place back in the 70s before they tore down The Armadillo World Headquarters, ruined Barton Springs and poured concrete everywhere.
The came dell and the the whole area went down the tubes.
