Cook County grand jury has indicted “Empire” actor (Jussie Smollett) on 16 counts of disorderly conduct for allegedly lying to police about being the victim of a racist and homophobic attack.

The multiple counts highlight different aspects of (Smollett’s allegedly phony story), including claims that his attackers beat him, poured a chemical substance on him and put a rope around his neck.

Smollet is the poster boy for a sickness that some Americans desire...fame and greed. Over reach as claimed by Jessie's lawyer is wrong...jessie lied; people lie all the time however, his lies caused undue harm, stress and expense to taxpayers and law enforcement and pushing criminal behavior onto others who are also guilty...they could have refused to be a part of the lie....throw the book at this felon.... who should have known better than to tell such a twisted story while breaking the law. I dunno? If you’d told me a week ago that a Chicago grand jury would charge JS with 16 additional felonies I’d ask you what you were smoking. Now he’s charged... We’ll see where this goes. One step at a time.
