I loved that show!
I thought it was hilarious!
It delivered delicious satire on the idea of affirmative action, minority set-asides, etc.
That’s why it had to go off the air.
:^) Also, a comedy should be funny. ;^) Almost 50 years ago there was "It's About Time", in which a couple of NASA astronauts encountered some unexplained phenom which tossed them back to a cave man society. It was the crossroads of "I Dream of Jeannie" and "Gilligan's island" because they returned to their time, but with cave people as stowaways.
