Very simply, having male bone structure is an advantage for most athletics. Changing your name from (for example) Bruce to something more superficially feminine like (for example) Caitlyn does not change that bone structure or the height advantage or any of the other anatomical differences that give men a physical advantage. Those men who are mentally ill perverts are also cheaters when they compete against women in athletics.
