Why isn't Pelosi called a conspiracy theorist when she calls this wholesale slaughter manufactured.?
I already realize this about last few generations. while many were focused on their lives and I was a kid/growing up the country was heading south. Now many people saying well we can’t do anything, everyone’s corrupt, it’s too far gone, etc.
bunch of lies, just watching it all go down, just focused on their own lives.
We really don’t have the USA anymore, just a name, but the country is some thing else.

He got some money from them, and their bill that supports the wall, and he calls a state of emergency, and now he’s off to more important things.

I think he should veto it and declare the state of emergency. He needs to teach the GOP a lesson. He brought them all across the finish line and campaigned with them. He needs to send a message that he will not allow them to stab him in the back. Cowards, all. What’s the point of signing a bill with bad stuff. He needs to stand on principal. We the People are with him.
In addition, he opened the government thinking they were going to negotiate in good faith. If they have to shut it down again it’s on the dems. They wouldn’t come to the table with a fair compromise.

Trump knows what he is doing. This bill keeps government open. (Republicans avert shutdown) This bill gives Trump only 1.73 billion for wall and limits Trump’s powers. (Democrats play to their base)
Finally, Trump declares national emergency, (notice how all of a sudden Obama’s 13 declarations are now public) allocates 8 billion in border spending which negates every Democrat entry into the bill, keeps the government open and instead of 5.7 billion he walks away with 9.73 billion.
Everyone declares victory and the wall gets built.

I agree, by the end of August the provisions in this bill expire. The battle is for another day. I don’t like it but I think Trump is looking over this event horizon.

Not mine. I learned a long time ago that Trump knows what he’s doing more often than not. If he vetoed the bill, he’d have another distraction to getting wall built. He has proven first, his desire to work with Congress, second, his willingness to compromise, and third, his willingness to go to the mattresses.
