Today’s Cryptogram

DWG FGYE TSZ’E KBSE EUB

CBQYWZ VUW ZBMBQ

IRMBY GC. KSKB QGEU

You can find this little fun word game, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications, unfortunately they are copyrighted so we can't use them here. So, we're just going to make up our own.

The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).

Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.

PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and any tips you might give the group on how you solve these puzzles. Puzzle solvers love to hear if you found the CG challenging or easy.

You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for today’s Cryptogram.

TOPICS: Chit/Chat; Hobbies; Miscellaneous; Music/Entertainment
KEYWORDS: brain; cryptogram; puzzle; todayscryptogram
If you're just starting out on these, be patient, as you'll be proficient in no time.

Solving the puzzle under 8 minutes is good, under 6 very good, under 4 excellent and under two "you're a pro!"

Those of you looking for an added challenge can try to solve one sentence or even one word at a time, i.e. solve the entire first line, then go to the second line etc.

If you need a little help you can copy the cryptogram and paste it to Hal’s Helper below:

You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper.

Let me know if you want on or off our Cryptogram Ping List, (currently at 54!)

Solution to our last puzzle:

I always look at it that I work with my employees as opposed to them working for me. Donald Trump

I'm challenging today's CGs solvers to try solving each line at a time.

1-2 min. I thought I’d point out that I have had my coffee.

Easiest one so far. There are a couple of words that show up in most cryptograms. Knowing those words really helps.

That one took me about five minutes! But once I got “ZBMBQ” I had it and finished it in a flash. I love words like that!

I got up at 5am to finish my laundry but hubby dear had left his wet laundry in washing machine! LOL So I made coffee instead. Mixing chicory coffee from New Orleans Cafe du Monde with regular coffee. YUM!

Same as you...about 1-2 minutes. Channeling Wheel of Fortune and the common letters...the statistics for most used letters is helpful.
