Pop rock band Maroon 5's performance at the Super Bowl last week saw the band avoid 'getting political' by refusing to 'take a knee' in support of Kaepernick.But despite the band performance receiving a considerable number of dislikes, it seems their 'real fans' rewarded them by buying their records.The band's songs sales increased by 488%, Billboard reported.It seems that avoiding 'Anti Trump' Rhetoric does pay.

I never heard of this guy before the last week. So, I looked up some of his videos on the web. I am surprised that people pay money to hear that crap or see that cartoon body on stage.
All the pundits criticized their performance, but I knew from my kids’ reactions and their straight ahead approach to entertainment that they made an excellent career move.

Adam Levine is a regular coach on the TV show, THE VOICE. It is a non-political showcase for unknown singers. Its fans, of which I am one, probably run the gamut from conservative to liberal. I am very happy that I will still be able to enjoy the show as before the Super Bowl.

I was also laughing at the reaction. The media slammed them and Kaepernick's lawyer was pissed! Levine was supposed to kneel!
They just floated a trial balloon out there to get people to tune in (Will he, or Won’t he?)
Kids can see through a lot of BS and if Adam Levine took a knee in honor of Kaepernick and BLM, it would've looked contrived and silly. The media pundits would've applauded but regular people would've rolled their eyes and facepalmed.
He probably shouldn’t give up his day gig on The Voice. But, thankfully, he “stood” tall against the SJWs. I’ll respect him for that.

I totally agree about Roger Waters... what a pretentious ass. Why doesn’t he rage on his OWN country and kneel during God Save the Queen? Afterall, it was the brits who exported slavery to the Americas and South Africa, instituted apartheid in India and made China a nation of junkies! But no, Waters ignores that because he is a socialist at heart. His support of Maduro proves that his agenda has nothing to do with whatever that kneeling crap was about in the first place.

Sure but as Taylor Swift can attest, not going political is the same as being "pro-Trump" as far as the media is concerned.
Once the trial balloon was floated out there, there was only one correct response. Not kneeling is now being interpreted as giving the finger to the whole BLM movement.
Keep your eye on Levine's career. He's going to be taken to task for his insolence, just as Swift was. The next article we read about Maroon 5 will inform us that they are much beloved among white supremacists.
