You haven’t seen Idiocracy?
Honestly... As an employer I can understand the advantages of direct deposits for both the employer and employee and have to blame myself for a little hypocrisy on this. But it can still be pulled as cash from that point forward. I always enjoyed getting paid at 12:01 Am so that my wife could go do all the shopping before I even got off work for the day to go cash a check. But she always went and pulled cash to do it.
There are a few situations where very minimal TWO PARTY AGREEMENTS like this are an advantage for both parties. But it is going beyond this and into extortion practices now that only truly benefit one side, the completely unneeded THIRD party. The third party usurpers who have no right to profit from being in between the exchanges of two private parties.
The “unnecessary third party” is the whole problem with these concepts. They have absolutely no right to handle and profit from my money before it is handed to the party I am paying. “No thank you, your services are not needed, I will hand it directly to the party I owe it to and neither of us have to pay your fees”.
It’s just dumb as hell to pay a third party to collect AND pay a debt between two parties.
I agree. As more “old America” (you remember, the good one) indeed the world, as it ages, it’s being replaced by skulls filled with liberal edumacation not smart enough to figure out Obama nor Hillary.
Shoot, I was thinking last night on my way to WM - they were trying that liberal brainwashing when I was in 6th or 7th grade. I remembered, for some reason, something from an old textbook.
I remember when the $100 bill changed a few years ago. Was going to buy a new pistol and needed about $300 cash so I was given 3 - $100 bills (been a long time since I saw one - ouch). It looked like Monopoly money. I had no idea what the new money looked like. This was probably in 2013.
What, no acceptance of 666 chips?
That’s funny. I have a problem when I hand them an old hundred dollar bill. They have to call a manager to check it every time. lol
I’m like “what... really? never saw one of those before?” :)
Curious... WM?
I bought the pistol from some FFL who had to ship it across state lines to my FFL so I had to buy a money order at the convenience store.
I know the gas station near me always checks even $20 bills.
That new bill looks like Monopoly money. Of course it still works, so I’ll take ‘em, LOL.
