Today’s Cryptogram

TX LKESPUASUM SFVTUNX,

CZRSPMD HKUMPTHMX. PKUTCN PSTLTU

You can find this little fun word game, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications, unfortunately they are copyrighted so we can't use them here. So, we're just going to make up our own.

The way it works is a letter stands for another letter.

For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram)

Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.

Send me a private reply if you need a hint for today’s Cryptogram.

PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and any tips you might give the group on how you solve these puzzles.

You can certainly send your solution to my private reply or if you need a hint for today’s Cryptogram.

TOPICS: Chit/Chat; Hobbies; Miscellaneous; Music/Entertainment
KEYWORDS: brain; cryptogram; puzzle; todayscryptogram
If you're just starting out on these, be patient, as you'll be proficient in no time.

Solving the puzzle under 8 minutes is good, under 6 very good, under 4 excellent and under two "you're a pro!"

Those of you looking for an added challenge can try to solve one sentence at a time, i.e. solve the entire first line, then go to the second line etc.

If you need a little help you can copy the cryptogram and paste it to Hal’s Helper below:

It’s easier to work on the puzzle without having to use your pencil.

Let me know if you want on or off our Cryptogram Ping List, (currently at 39!)

Solution to our last puzzle:

We must speak our minds openly, debate our disagreements honestly, but always pursue solidarity. Donald Trump

Sometimes the shorter quotes are the hardest. I recommend that if you’re stumped, try using HAL for help.

That one yesterday ‘stumped’ me...Don’t know where I got hung up etc....guess maybe looking for that colon????<: <: <:

Keep em coming....

As to stumped, NO ONE every struck out EVERY batter he faced and NO ONE ever homered EVERY time he came to bat.

(for the nitpickers, if one only faced a few batters or had a few at bats, that doesn’t count)

Sixteen minutes. That was hard. Once I realized the name, however, it took less than a minute. I can’t believe it took me that long to figure out the name, though. I mean, duh.

I think it was from one of the readers, #4 post yesterday, who had the hint invisible. YOu had to highlight the area AFTER “Hint:” to see it. The hint was “Cofeevfee”

The last two, I recognized the big word intuitively, and that made them easy. Thank you for sharing these.

That was HARD!!! Only random word first letters triggered the answer for me.

It took me about five hours, on and off.
