Went to the IWC web site. I don’t see that exact watch -> white face\black hands - IWC on the face on your left - the classic chronograph goes for 12k+

The watch in the thread could be an older model or custom made.
I am assuming we can ignore the chronograph hours\minutes\seconds ?

Got a chronograph as a going away gift when I got drafted.
I bit my finger nails down to nothing back then.
The drill instructor took one look at my hands and made me wear winter fur-lined leather gloves (June thru August) all through boot camp.
Only time I got to take them off was taking a dump and taking a shower and at the rifle range.

When the Head Drill Instructor saw the watch was a chronograph during a rifle inspection, he commandeered it for the “good of the platoon” - he used the stop watch for everything.
At the end of boot camp, I had to beat a time in a “there and back” race to win my own watch back.

I wore that watch all thru my active duty, nary a scratch.
Marines left RVN to stage and clean up in Okinawa before we could go back to the states.
The watch got stolen out of my utilities trouser pockets as I slept.
Bummer.
I haven’t regularly wore a watch since...none in the last 25 years

We’ve had weird booms off and on for the last 40 years. I have always assumed that it was dynamite being used on rocks we have around here to allow for a basement etc.

It does shake the house, but it’s different from the earthquakes we have. Those have had a beginning that builds up and not really a boom. Most of our tremors are small enough that we don’t even notice them.

Last bigger tremor, at first I thought a helicopter was flying lower than usual, but when the ceiling tiles started vibrating, I realized it was an earthquake. Started to jump under the table, but it was over before I could act.

I did research on, and then wrote some ad copy for. Rolex watches. I was shocked to find that the Top Gun model starts at roughly what I paid for my little house.

Mueller in particular and FBI in general have been “fixers”.

They go in and get someone to plead to a lesser crime, so that the crimes aren’t investigated all the way up the food chain, and details that might be revealed in a trial are not submitted and thus kept from public view.

So the guilty basically get a slap, and a white wash. And the higher ups are not exposed.
