Ive previously written about how celebrities are ruining Twitter with their political and hate speech. For my last post of 2018, Ive compiled a special list of Hollywood has-beens who are desperately trying to remain relevant despite Hollywood careers that are well beyond their expiration dates.
10. Rosie O'Donnell I guess shes a celebrity or was. I dont know. Shes been in a few movies youve probably seen.
The only two that come to mind are Sleepless in Seattle and A League of Their Own but for sure, she had a briefly successful stint in Hollywood in the 1990s as a comedian/supporting actress who now has only the occasional guest spot on a television series. She had a daytime talk show that only lasted six seasons but rest assured, she still matters because shes regularly bashing Trump and the GOP on Twitter! Her tweets are juvenile and unhinged, but thats the recipe that makes a celebrity matter these days.
But, between her and Donald Trump, Trump is the one with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. And I guess shes really bitter about that. I couldnt tell you what shes been up to with her career these days, but shes not gonna let us forget that she hates Trump and thinks his inevitable impeachment is approaching.
9. Mark Hamill Im not sure if Mark Hamill is a Hollywood has-been, or a Hollywood never-was, because despite having starred in the biggest movie franchise of all time, Mark Hamills career has been largely forgettable. Hes been busy in Hollywood, thats for sure, but his filmography is filled with a wide array of voice work.

Writes his own ticket???? Are you serious?
Other than the reviving of Luke for the new Star Wars Trilogy, his work has been primarily voice acting for cartoons, and occasionally popping up on a kids TV show, like playing the “trickster” on the Flash a few times..
Hamill hardly writes his own ticket... He’s not, and never has been, in much demand as an actor. I don’t have anything against Mr Hamill, but trying to pretend he’s in huge demand as an actor, is well, incorrect.
Sure he can always do the ComiCon circuit to make money and will always be able to get some sort of work just because he played Luke Skywalker, but that doesn’t mean he’s writing his own ticket in Hollywood.
Rosie was a has been back in the 90s.
Were she not a loud mouth Lezbo hardly anyone would know who she is.
Griffith..at her best was a second rate unfunny untalented wannabe?
Takei is mostly know for playing Sulu on star trek...a half century ago.
Otherwise, he is best known for being a homo?
Reiner. All The Family 70’s and This is Spinal Tap 80s?
Looks like a list for crack heads.
Whenever I read of some Hollywood "star" make an outlandish comment about President Trump or the U.S.A., all I can think of is that it's a desperate ploy to stay on the "A List".
I used to love Bette Midler, I guess you can say “appreciated” Jason Alexander, and loathed Rob Reiner but loved many of his movies. Mourned the self-destruction of Jim Carrey some years ago. Now, they are all just radioactive to me. I imagine they think they are putting country before career, now that they have made their millions and almost nothing can keep them from having a comfortable retirement. That certainly isn’t courage.
