Details about Scotts disappearance have been slow to surface. Montanas Department of Justice confirmed Friday that it issued a missing or endangered person advisory on Dec. 26, the day the FBI requested one, which was nearly two weeks after Scott went missing. The Bureau of Indian Affairs had entered Scott into the missing persons database Dec. 13, meaning she was in the system, but her disappearance wasn't broadcast to the media until the day after Christmas. The advisory ended Dec. 27. Local, non-federal, law enforcement officers werent familiar with the specifics of the report Friday.

I wonder why the title says they disappear at an alarming rate.
Her body has been found.
Sad to say....her body has been found.

Elizabeth Warren would be safe out there.
So many missing Indian females? Is a serial killer out there targeting them?
Not to jump to conclusions, but there have been serial killers who target marginalized females such as street prostitutes. Has some monster found victims in Indian country?
The story makes it sound as if law enforcement has been slow to respond and investigate these cases. It sure sounds like a pattern has developed.

Too bad she wasn’t suspected of Russian collusion. That might have gotten things going a bit faster.
Good question....Here, I found this at the article that was posted.....:
Montana U.S. Sens. Jon Tester and Steve Daines pointed out that two dozen Native American women in Montana have disappeared in 2018. Only one was found alive. Another was found dead.
Ouch, sorry. Not a thread to be joking around in. I didn’t know when I posted that that the girl’s body had been found.
Sounds liked we’ve got a big time serial killer on the loose up there. Hope they catch him soon.
One can't help but wonder if a local LEO is responsible for these disappearances.

1023/1024.
Reading Tony Hillerman’s stories can give you an insight into the peculiarities of reservation law enforcement. They have their own that takes precedence over outside agencies and they can be jealously protective of that. It could certainly complicate searching for a missing Indian girl.
Good reads there.
