After a conversation with a friend that lives in El Paso,I went surfing through the Mexican media and this was the nicest post I could come up with. We're not being told what's really happening in Mexico.
I'm going to post this link to the Laredo newspaper but BE WARNED!!after two tours in Vietnam I thought I was pretty tough but the first photo broke my heart and made my blood boil.
We should unleash the full force of the US military against the cartels and either legalize drugs or start executing junkies. There is no middle ground.

Visited Nuevo Laredo with family as a kid in the late ‘60s.
My family was inclined to avoid tourist areas and find old markets. It was peaceful then but very different in several ways.

I had a middle school student who would come back from visits to Mexico and tell me all about the Zetas. If this little kid knew all about them, then why can’t they be stopped. Yeah, we all know why.
