People are taking so many selfies, they're getting "Selfie Wrist." One local doctor tells us how to recognize the signs and symptoms and has expert advice on what you can do. Selfies help you capture how you look and feel at a given moment. Tina Choi, 29, works in digital media promotion. For her clients, she says a successful selfie can raise their profile and income. Choi believes selfies are an effective way of sharing a sense of yourself.
"Its really about telling a story. Where you're at. What you're doing. How active you are," Choi said.

Selfie addiction is a real problem. And an annoyance too. Some people have nothing else on their social media.

Is it me, or am I as weird as, say, a Democrat, for not ever o once in my lifetime have taken a “selfie” other than for passport purposes? I mean, seriously, why the hell would I want to create a “selfie” of my ugly-ass mug?
Isn’t it absolutely amazing how many millenials (and older) think that the rest of us are interested in what they’re doing and where they’re going every second of the day?
I have never seen so many people so completely wrapped up in themselves. What a sad commentary.
I didn’t even know how to flip the camera on my phone until a couple of weeks ago.
My son showed me how a selfie is done, but I doubt I’d ever do it.

Couldn’t agree more. Social media has exacerbated people’s natural self-absorption to an obnoxious degree.
I’m a modern day rebel: no tattoos, body piercings, facebook, twitter, or selfies.
...and in the last days, men will become lovers of selfies?
A selfie should be called a lonely.
Go one step further...do not buy branded clothing items...or accessory items which have the manufacturers name so that others can see it....purses...shirts..hats...sweatshirts..etc..you become a unpaid walking advertisement for slightly above average products...
It will forever be known as the *Kardashian Affect*.
