FOR the first time in the Miss Universe’s 66-year history, there is a transgender contestant in the competition.
Angela Ponce, who is Miss Spain, will be making history as she takes part in the finals of the beauty pageant in Bangkok, Thailand on Monday.
The pageant changed one of its longstanding policies in 2012, which stated that participants should be “naturally born” women.
Angela, 27, says that by taking part she hopes to highlight how misunderstood the transgender community is, and she also intends to send a message to Donald Trump.
Angela particularly wants to raise awareness about the high rates of suicide within the community, and said: “Who hasn't suffered from prejudice? Who hasn't had to deal with bullying?”
The timing of her participation is particularly poignant, as a recent leaked White House document said President Trump’s administration is considering blocking transgender people from military service.
The report also said they may push changes to the law to define gender by biological traits at birth.
Angela responded to Trump, who used to own the Miss Universe competition, and said: “I always say: having a vagina didn't transform me into a woman. I am a woman, already before birth, because my identity is here [her head.]”

The first I saw drag queens was a long time ago. A friend of mine and I were walking through the night life area of Seattle and noticed a sign in the window, “DRAG QUEEN CONTEST NITE.” The sign had a photo of a really sexy girl. We thought it would be a night to see some really beautiful women. We had no idea it was men dressed up as women.
The show began and we noticed when the “women” were talking (or singing), they had male voices. Yuk!! Everything they did was a satire on women. There was something “off” about how the “women” looked. I asked someone if these were all female impersonators, and my hunch was confirmed. I told my friend, that I didn’t appreciate how they were trashing women. He didn’t like it either. We walked out after the first three acts. We learned what the word “drag” meant. Transvestites were a major drag.
Just think, his “vagina” is made out of a dick and a ballsack.

From what I have seen despite never visiting the country, Spain has more than it’s share of pretty girls.
Never in a million tears would they have a fake female really look better than the real thing.
If I believe that I am a firetruck, it doesn’t make it so.
