I admin two groups on Facebook with well over 16,000 members each. Before I ban someone I ALWAYS contact them first to make sure I didn’t misunderstand the situation and to give them a last chance to right their wrong. Whoever did this does not have the right temprament for the job.

This thread has been maintained precariously for almost a year and many times MOD ransomnote had to beg for us to be excused and be allowed to continue.

Bags has been suspended before, so there’s that. He has been very, very careful. And, nothing is fair, so there’s that too. He didn’t deserve it, so that was our wake up call. We aren’t wanted and we better accept it.

Once upon a time, people could post IBTZ(In before the zot), to particular snarky posters, and then there would be a zot. I haven’t seen that in years-not sure it applies anymore.
It should be enough that ransomnote has warned us against FEEDING the trolls.
Who said anything about “FAIR”. We are in Mr. Rob’s house, not kiddie school. Most ALL of us know the score and the RULES. There was a Warning, I hear. I missed it.

188% agree. The schools and universities in our country are incubators of the current political mindset. Breakdown of families over the past years have led to very few children receiving proper education in government, history, Constitution or any of our true singularly American civil experiment. Our American lives have been preempted by the socialist, progressive left by their inoculation of our children in the school systems.
Fewer responsible parents in the home is one of their big plays to make this happen. My dad taught me a lot but it confirmed what I learned in school. I taught my children and we had supper table discussions of how schools differed. I made many trips to schools and became active with the school board. My grandchildren have to be fed truth from their parents to completely oppose much of what the schools teach. I know, I'm preaching to the choir.
You are correct. We need to actively oppose funding to colleges and universities teaching leftist lies. We also need to fight for truth in textbooks and curriculum at all levels of education. And it is war. One we must win or even if President Trump drained the swamp and made every change we want today, this nation would fall with our next generation or 2.
How about telling them to stay off the thread, since they clearly don’t care for it and are only here to tell us how stupid we are?
Genuine skeptics who want to research with us and decide for themselves are ok, and we can engage with them without acrimony. The people who dominated the thread today were not doing so in good faith.

You all know that I’m not a regular on this thread, but I had stopped by before calling it a night and happened to witness bagster in action at the time of his or her ban.
I don’t know him or her but I do know that bagster is quite... lively. I’m sure that can be challenging for mods, especially on a day when there are lots of trolls.
It seems that bagster was catching up on comments posted to him/her in the posts numbered in the 300’s. He posted two comments to posts after the warning.
The first, responding to post 367, was posted exactly one second after the warning, post number 720 at 8:56:19.
The second post, about eight minutes after the warning, post number 727, is in response to post 386.
Both are from several pages before the warning.
It looks like there’s a very good chance that bagster had not seen the warning since he was catching up on another page’s comments.
I suppose that this is a request for reconsideration and, possibly, mercy.
There ya go, for what it’s worth.
Thanks, Admin Mod, for putting up with us FReepers. It must be worse than herding cats. I hear that Excedrin is good for headaches.
