It was the first of maybe five films I’ve walked out on, and early enough to get my money back.
Clint lost serious stock value after that.
Just really awful

Except that she broke up his long time marriageWrong. Clint broke up Clint's marriage. No one forced him to cat around with her.

“I think if you compare the fingerprints with those on HIS gun, you’ll know who did it”.
Her look of gratitude was priceless. RIP.

Awful young to die...
74 is below average for American white women by 7 or 8 years but it isn't young. We remember her as a young woman in the movies, but 74 is old age. Some of us who have lost family members who were children or young adults or even middle-age folks would have been thrilled if that person had made 74.

Not only that but it had decidedly un Christian messages after each shoot out, except the last one where the govt saved them.

Nice! I still watch the ‘Clyde’ films often - don’t ask me why - so Sondra will remain Lynn Halsey-Taylor (named after a drinking fountain!) to me.
I very much recall the Charlie Rich segment as well as the other musical numbers from the two films. Johnny Duncan did ‘Acapulco’ in the second film and that song became a fave of mine. As you know, Phil Everly made an appearance in the first, Fats Domino in the sequel. Heck, there were Eddie Rabbitt and Glen Campbell as well!
John(ny) Durrill was with The Five Americans (’Western Union’) and then with The Ventures during their late 60s/early 70s days before they returned to their four-piece surf roots. He was the keys player in the ‘Any Which Way You Can’ and composed ‘The Good Guys And The Bad Guys’ which featured in the bar brawl scene and was played over the end credits also.
You may know all this but....;)

Just watched “Every Which Way but Loose” yesterday. Wife gave Sondra a low rating as an actress. Hmmm?
RIP Sondra.

In the early 90s I was in Book Soup on Sunset and went to the counter to pay. Placed the book down without paying much attention in front of who I thought was one of the clerks. Looked up after realizing that I wasnt getting service, and Sondra Locke was standing there smiling at me. Turns out she was there for a book signing and wasnt getting any attention. Poor gal. But we both got a good chuckle over it.

"74 is below average for American white women by 7 or 8 years but it isn't young." Age is relative... At my age, 85, 74 is "young"... {:-)
