The whole show could be over in 90 minutes....no drama....no fake jokes....no worries about some guy insulting so-and-so.

And why would they when the perpetual offended will dig into that person’s past and find something (anything) to be offended over.
I don’t recall ever watching an Academy Awards show back when I had a TV. I can’t imagine watching people patting themselves on the back about what a good job they did even before each speech became an attack on Republicans. I’d rather go to the dentist.

The Oscars appear to be affected by Metoo movement collateral damage. How about picking a female that doesn’t rape of fondle? And why not a thespian instead of a comedian?
I don’t care about the actors or their movies.
I think they should just have a private meeting to award each other.
No host? All they’ll have left are a bunch of parasites.
And no one will watch anyway.
They should roll an actual dumpster on stage and set it on actual fire.

The rule is that you're supposed to delete your offending tweets and then apologize profusely, explain that you were young and stupid and now you are mature and woke.
Kevin Hart wouldn't do this, until finally he did. He deleted his tweets, apologized, AND QUIT!
He wasn't supposed to quit. He was only supposed to beg and grovel. That's all the Academy was asking for.
