And yet hes been a more effective president than weve had in 20+ years
Can’t completely disagree. I get tired of his braggadocio and I think I ultimately hurts his cause
That seems like an odd stance based on the audience he’s trying to attract.
Tucker is a fool.
Put your bow tie back on, Poindexter. You’re time at the cool kids table just ended.
I am going to give Tucker the benefit of the doubt that this report is somehow out of context.
Gee why do I think that Tucker’s going to say this report is misleading and out of context?
On the other hand the criticisms are somewhat valid because trump tried to deal with the republicans in Congress and trusted them.
However it’s impossible to say that trump has not had success and delivered on his promises in many areas and I’m sure Tucker knows that and says it.
That's a style thing. One doesn't always have to like the boss to respect him. Trump's results speak for themselves. Of course he won't get everything he claimed but he is making progress.
A head fake to the left is what I see. To boost his ratings. Tuck decimates lefties each night.
Oh I get it. Tuck is pulling for idiot chile Kaisich in 2020.
What the F is wrong with Tucker?!? Seriously, is he on LSD or something?
What a j@ck@ss!
Done with watching his show.
I have every reason to suspect them of bias, spin, and hyperbole.
Tucker thinks its Trump fault because he doesnt have seasoned D.C. people around him to navigate the legislative politics of getting these things done but he should know better that no matter who was negotiating on behalf of Trump...the Paul Ryans and others ineffective Republican elite were only going to go so far as in passing Trumps agenda; Taxs cuts? Fine...Judges? Fine...everything else? No
Myopia.
Just stopping the climate change nonsense is more than anyone could even hope for. And he’s done that.
Tucker thinks he’s a clever boy.
His chief promises were that he would build the wall, defund Planned Parenthood and repeal Obamacare, and he hasnt done any of those things, Carlson said, adding that those goals were probably lost causes. Trump, he said, doesnt understand the system, and his own agencies dont support him.
He knows very little about the legislative process, hasnt learned anything, hasnt surrounded himself with people that can get it done, hasnt done all the things you need to do, so its mostly his fault that he hasnt achieved those things, he added.
A full quote would be more informative.
I’ve never watched the Tucker show because I “cut the cord” years ago, but I’ve seen clips. I like Trump and I would vote for him again over any dem, but I agree he hasn’t kept some of his most significant promises: no repeal and replace; no wall; no lock her up. He has helped pull the curtain back on the corruption in DC and the media, but he has not drained the swamp.
As a candidate, Trump required that for every new federal regulation, two existing regulations must be eliminated. Check these two graphs out:
The Wall was Trump’s very first promise, and he has not accomplished that. I suspect he could build the wall by declaring it a national defense and national security necessity and take the funds from the Pentagon and Homeland Security. He has done well on the economy, North Korea, and trade and NATO issues, but The Wall is the most important. So, Carlson is at least partly right.
Can’t say I disagree.
It’s Congress that isn’t competent.
It’s not Trump’s job to write legislation.
It’s Trump’s job to sign good legislation.
