Cops: How much you got?.....................
These junkies are just going to go out and get another fix as soon as they can. Whats the point of rescuing them? A lot of resources expended on them that could be going to worthy victims.
—SNIF— “How much, what?”
LOL, tell him they only took half of it and hid the other half, fella will tear his house apart.
He should file a lawsuit! Good chance he’ll win...
His actions seem like the height of ingratitude, and may well be, but keep in mind that this man is still addicted, and is going to keep acting that way.
That (drug addiction) is a dark well that anyone could fall into under certain circumstances. If one is taking strong meds for pain, never forget that they could very quickly become habit forming.
When I go to the dentist, I want all manner of pain relief.
I am not embarrassed to ask for it. When I leave the dentist, I try to only take the minimum meds for it.
Thankfully for all of us, the govt will pick up the tab and tax us for saving this mans life....this time...next time, and maybe even the time after that.... Could be millions...
The only good heroin addict...
Just as an intellectual argument... if the police didn’t charge him with anything, why should the police be allowed to seize anything from his house?
If they felt the drugs were illegal, they should charge the man with possession, and then they may have grounds for seizure.
Inevitably, after the "f*** you" to the rescuers, the first question is, "how long until I can get high again?"
Society hasn't quite got a grasp on this problem.
Arrest him! And his dealer.
Who is guarding the evidence room?
“Oh, was that yours? C’mon down to the station and pick it up”.
Maybe it’s time for a little Russian Roulette with the drug?
Is it Narcan or Saline, tell us what you know.
When the “lifesaver” Narcan made the scene, I argued with my very liberal kid that the people most happy would be the drug dealers.
This insidious reviver is a damned tool to keep buying and using drugs. I am sorry for the people who’ve gotten themselves addicted but I am more sorry for their families and loved ones watching and having their own lives destroyed.
The selfish jerk will overdose again. Is it better to revive the vicious circle again or let him succumb to his choices? God knows the rest of us do.
So give him his drugs back. Next day, arrest him and charge him again.
Repeat, until he figures it out.
Another worthless pill popper....Let them kill themselves.
