Hmmm, maybe explaining this or better yet 'thinking' first would be helpful. There are millions of people that weren't born in America that immigrated legally and worked their asses off, paying taxes and contributing to the nation who never asked for a single thing from the government until they collected SS, which they paid into for decades.
As a matter of fact I thought it was still supposed to be illegal for legal immigrants to request or accept aid from the government for five years, that their sponsors were responsible. That's how it was when my parents came to America. First they had to have a sponsor and then they had to wait years for their turn.
Now our socialist democrats have made illegal immigration like winning the lottery.

Yes, there are plenty of reasons, and here is just one! California gives over and above what the feds give to Illegal Aliens. Yesterday I was at my doctor’s office and picked up a booklet funded ‘with a generous grant from the Calif. Bar Foundation’, titled, “Seniors & the Law” A Guide for Maturing Californians. They pointed out many programs, such as property tax deferment for seniors in financial trouble, that have been eliminated because of budget cuts...but they didn’t cut this one!
