I voted in Broward since ‘78, once the Dems took over the Supervisor of Elections job and put their people in all the poll worker jobs they stopped asking to see ID, even telling me to put it away on several occasions and getting irate about it.

It depends in the type if ID. Retina scans or or scan of fingerprint on your ballot matching a database. Both are too intrusive in a voter’s privacy.
But showing a government-issued ID won’t work in places where they’re determined to cheat. There are entire undereground mills that produce excellent phony IDs and other documentation.

I was thinking that’s a really good idea. Then I remembered the video that went viral in 2016 showing how easy it is for elections people to defeat the Scantron readers and change votes.
There must be a good answer.

I have voted in GA for over 40 years and have had to show ID every time. The problem, I believe, is mail-in ballots. If it were up to me, voting would be in person only, with ID, and ONLY on election day, which would be a holiday. No absentee voting except for active duty military. No provisional ballots. I would also end “motor voter” and same day registration. Voting is a responsibility that should be taken seriously. If you can’t get registered and get your butt to the polls, then perhaps you are not responsible enough to vote. Letting any moron who can fog a mirror decide how the country is run isn’t wise and only results in more democrats.
We have voter ID here in Georgia.Its the absentee crap thats the problem.

We have voter id. The law is being followed in GA. That is what Abrama and the criminal clown posse that run the Democrat party are complaining about. GA Law was followed and they keep running to a stupid woman Obama judge who ruled that the law should not apply.
Really tired of partisan judges. What we need is judicial reform when it is easier to remove politically corrupt judges who ignore the law to rule based on their politics.
Problem is that paper ballots tell the real story, and those are completed in ink. A recount would show massive irregularities. That doesn’t mean they couldn’t feed a few hundred or thousand ballots through the reader after the polls close, but all of this stuff is timestamped. There are a LOT of hoops to jump through to commit fraud. Any one person or entity successful at it has to have insider information and there have to be dozens of people who turn a blind eye to it.
My experience has shown that any fraud or corruption has to be systemic and widespread to be effective. Otherwise, you’re bound to have at least one person who will blow the whistle.
The judges need to be fixed for sure.
Provisional ballots shouldn’t be... but if they are, they should be a different color than regular ballots. I’m sure the DemWits would call that racist. Ballots of color ya know.
Not sure I want to make my blue state, but I’ve never shown a license to vote. Just gave my name and address, which a poll worker checked off on the voter list. Of course it’s a small town with only one voting place for all four precicts, which vote in separate groupings in same building. I can’t imagine how the voting goes in more populated areas.
Here is a proposed solution: Have all provisional ballots require the voter to come in person with ID to resolve them, explaining why there was a problem and proving they were eligible to vote. Provisional ballots should be assumed to be fake until proven otherwise.
In Arizona, if you ask for a mail-in ballot and don’t get it, you can vote on election day with a provisional ballot. They already checked your ID and signature when you submit the provisional, but need to make sure no ballot was mailed in using your name. That is a legitimate use of a provisional ballot.
Mail in ballots whose signature doesn’t match should be set aside and assumed phony until the voter shows up in person, provides ID, and confirms their vote. After all, that is why mail in ballots HAVE signatures - and phone numbers!
And yes, I wish mail in ballots were not allowed. But in Arizona, 75% already vote that way and there is no chance of going back.
And just like the Nazis took out the SA leadership when they were no longer useful, the Bolsheviks will purge all of these individuals at the appropriate time.
