While much of the nations attention has been focused on the post-election shenanigans in south Florida that resulted in a recount for the U.S. Senate seat and governorship, the governors race in Georgia also remains uncalled at this time as Democrat-led legal fights have delayed the certification of the vote totals in the hope of similarly triggering a recount or runoff election.
Those efforts to delay the inevitable declaration of victory for Republican candidate Brian Kemp may have finally run their course, though, and even as Democrat candidate Stacey Abrams camp is calling a federal judges ruling on Wednesday a major victory for Democrats, the reality is the ruling was a split decision that ultimately favored Kemp and should result in a swift conclusion to the legal battles.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that U.S District Judge Steve Jones issued a ruling on three separate but related issues Abrams had raised, ruling in favor of Abrams on one issue while ruling in favor of Kemp on the other two.

Perhaps she can now go on a diet. Crying racism will do.
Maybe they can claim fla. too. Call it affirmative action correction.
Hopefully Georgia can fix their electoral process to bring in voter ID and other measures.
I dont understand. Here in Florida, we must present a Florida drivers license in order to vote. I have personally never seen a person show up at the polls without a form of ID. Florida makes it very simple to get an ID card. Would voter ID laws simply codify the requirement? That seems pretty simple to me.
That may be true, and enforced with counties with honest agents. Obviously it’s not working in Broward and Palm Beach where the population grows by 120% during election times.
It’s also an indication of some sort of weakness in how Florida administers elections.
I am sorry, the diet doesn’t work, the food is entitled to be eaten even if making one fat, ooh, that’s a micro aggression, I meant if the border was open I wouldn’t just eat friend chicken, I would have beans to diet on, the weight is the world’s fault, they gave me a feel good patch..I am now thinking I did not want to lose weight anyway..yea that’s the ticket
I was a poll worker a few years ago, and I only saw one instance where someone forgot their ID. It was an older woman who left and came back an hour later with it and voted. She was given the option to vote a provisional ballot but “wanted her vote to count.”
IMO, provisional ballots are ripe for fraud, and that appears to be the case here.
Also, I’ve been involved in elections in 4 Tampa Bay area counties and every one of them has the bubble-in and electronic scanners. When you finish your ballot, you scan it in, and you walk out. They have the paper ballot which is bundled into a box and sealed for storage in the event of a recount.
She could just blame Trump. Or the Russians. Dems are spoiled for choice when it comes to excuses.
Personally, I think each county listing of voters ought to be pulled out and a simple 3x5 inch postcard sent to the registered voter four weeks prior to the election. You fail to get one...you are then forced to go to the county court-house...register....and vote in that period prior to the election. No more provisional votes...just dump that entire concept.
I also think the wrongful voting folks (those voting in two or more counties or states)...probably need a $40,000 fine leveled, with no discretion by the judges to dismiss that.
Some democraps running the election office would conveniently “forget” to mail a significant number of GOP voter cards under your scenario.
Some people don’t get cards today when the local board of elections gives notice of change of voting location for a given precinct, or lines are redrawn. Voter ID still seems a better solution.
They already do something similar. Ive lived in Florida for almost 40 years and for as long as I could vote, Ive received sample ballots about a month out from an election. Those sample ballots are addressed directly to the voter. They are not sent to every home, only to registered voters.
Your actual experiences/observations inside the polls appear to be similar to mine. Provisional voting is ripe for fraud. The early voting days help make it easier to do.
The same in my Florida county
THANK GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(/s)
The only problem with that is if you dont get one in the mail, would you realize you didnt get one and were supposed to get one? Thats expecting a lot from people who dont even have the wherewithal to get a drivers license or state ID card.
For crying out loud, she was on the cover of Time magazine
Guess this ended up like the Battle of the Bugle -- somebody ran out of gas...
