America, and humanity, is done. Prove me wrong.
Self-published

Posted on 11/13/2018 8:57:54 AM PST by GOP Congress

For the love of God, please prove me wrong.

The country is gone. For the first time since the pilgrims have reached the shores of North America, the culture that both preceded, as well as lasted over 200 years, has met its final requiem in the 2018 “elections.” The Fabian Socialists have finally taken over the United States, the last bastion of economic, religious, and cultural freedom in the world, the rule of law, and Constitutional Republicanism that guarantees the rights of individuals over the suppression of government. In short, we are entering the darkest days that America will ever endure, and possibly; no, probably, will never occur in this phase of human evolution.

We are entering darker days than even the Founding of the United States had to endure.

We are entering darker days than the Civil War created in the citizenry of both the North and the South.

We are entering darker days than World War I, during which time Fabian Socialism instituted itself through the Federal Income Tax and Direct Senate Vote amendments.

We are entering darker days than World War II, during which time national socialism in the United States instituted itself through social security, property controls, and the emergence of the Deep State intelligence apparatus such as the CIA and the FBI leadership.

We are entering darker days than the Cold War, essentially Socialism 1.0, threatening to take over the world through economic and overt government suppression.

And lest you say I’m being hyperbolically insensitive to the deaths and permanent injuries of great patriots in all our wars, and even to the soldiers on both sides of the Civil war

Note that in every event above, the United States was on the brink if we lost. Had the US never been founded, economic progress would have been suppressed over 90%, and I daresay we’d be living in mid-1800’s technology, at most, even today in the 21st Century, with wars and skirmishes increased hundred-fold. But we persevered and advanced.

World War 1 was the first attempt at a takeover of the world by an oppressive entity. While Americans and other westerners fought valiantly on the battlefield, losing millions of lives, they saved the civilization. But during this time, the socialists made their move in the US by instituting the aforementioned amendments to the US Constitution, providing its greatest weaknesses to its potential existence.

World War 2 was the second attempt at takeover of the world by an oppressive entity. Again, while Americans and other westerners fought valiantly on the battlefield, losing tens of millions of lives, they again saved the civilization. But during this time, the socialists made even larger moves in the US by instituting the aforementioned executive, judicial, and legislative changes that diluted the Constitution even more.

The Cold War was, in fact, Socialism’s biggest thorn, because Americans were aware of how external forces attempted to destroy the country. In fact, the very nature of individuals are to be more aware and suspicious of larger entities trying to enforce its will upon the collective group of individualists. This has been going on since tribal-states have administered the governance of man.

But the past 50 years have shown that man can never let up, and resist all forms of tyranny where it appears, from foreign or domestic opponents. And when the attacks are supported by information throttlers, truth deniers, and a significant change in human cognizance, at a rate that dwarfs that of easily defined macro threats such as Nazism and Communism it spells the end of reason, the end of decency…and I daresay, the end of humanity.

When the United States loses its Constitutional republican form of government, and the rest of the world follows suit, only one result can occur.

Apocalypse. Elysium. Destruction. Pick and choose, but normal civilization cannot exist.

Look at inner city Detroit. Baltimore. Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas, San Francisco. All one-proud cities, the envy of the world, the epicenters of commerce that led to the freedom and individual pursuits of millions of Americans, and in extension, Western Civilization.

But it will all fail, and unfortunately, the fall of civilization will flow rapidly downhill. Breaking down is always quicker and easier than building up, whether it’s a building or a governing policy. On a macro scale, totalitarianism is much easier to control than individual rights…until the duped become unduped. Unfortunately, this time around it will be much harder, because for the first time in American history, the majority of its students and significant group of young adults believe in its demise. They believe that the country itself is manifested in hatred, a “white supremacy” if you will, and in extension, all Western Civilization is now at risk.

The same culture that first produced agriculture. classical enlightenment into mathematical understanding. They are all good, but there is on major trait that modern humans have evolved over the centuries: The self-governing individual. The ones that understand moral codes. Strong individual alliances from neighbor to neighbor. The ability to sacrifice short-term pleasures for long-term stability. Simply, planning for the future.

But that culture is now verboten. The normalization of all that is abnormal; the deconstruction of what once was normal: the family, with parenting the key factor to children’s societal development and providing their moral compass, is almost a fait accompli. The desire to destroy, to reshape, and finally, to throw history into a memory hole, “reimagining” human existence without its factual core.

Objectively, we have a decade, maybe two, left of the United States of America, at least as long as the conservative justices hold sway in protecting Constitutional authority. But once its rapidly deteriorating conservative base in its most reliable states like Texas and Arizona go blue, the likelihood of an American Renaissance will fade into oblivion.

So, what comes next? Nothing good. The wealth, promulgated by Democrat-instigated policies, will rapidly move upward. The crumbs will be dispensed upon the newly created masses of poverty, first the disaffected minorities, then more loudly, the former majority. The middle class is eviscerated, and the productive class is shuttered. Identity politics will keep the new super-majority enraged in a prolonged Two Minutes of Hate. The hordes will come in from all over the lower Americas, from Africa, from lower Asia. All with one unified theme: End the governance and moral compass of Western Civilization. The inner cities will expand to the entire country, with mob rule overtaking any semblance of Constitutional republican governance, the only form of governance that once lit the torch of human liberty and REAL freedom from REAL intolerance.

The engine of mankind’s individual growth, low-cost energy, will be eliminated through “environmental policies,” dictating the massive reduction of the ability of individuals to make their own decisions, travel to their privately-decided destinations, live in their desired level of comfort. (I daresay, had energy been developed to the point of being low-cost and 100% sustainable, that form of energy would be kept from the masses to ensure their subservience to the collective.) The homeless will be codified; indeed, mandated, to keep providing the massive hatred levels of people that is both necessary and a result of mandated poverty and society credits.

The biggest problem we face is that the Democrats have figured out the frog boiling method. They may have overstepped in 2016, but after seeing their antics in the Kavanaugh hearings and overall hate, and the media’s incessant support of such hatred, the final test of the midterms have proven that the frog is now fully ensconced in the water, awaiting its fate. 2020 will bring the end to any chances of a real American as president, as well as loss of the Senate, which will then accelerate the legislative, executive, and ultimately the judicial, end of the American experience. And more horrifically, the beginning of global dystopia that will most probably never advance past the status that we achieved in Western Civilization ever again.

So…PROVE ME WRONG!! PLEASE! I would love NOTHING BETTER than to be outlandishly, absolutely, 100% wrong. I would LOVE for my requiem on this country, this Constitutional republic of free states, to be a withering nightmare. I hope to God, I pray for me to be wrong. But for the children and grandchildren, we damn them to our legacy of fear and destruction. May God have mercy on our souls.

I think that started when the government, for good or bad reasons, birthed the Dept. of Education. The Progressives saw that as an opening to propagandize our children and Conservatives were too timid or complacent to resist them.

But the thing that gets me is in spite of Trump’s success in turning the economy around, the numbers of jobs created, record low minority unemployment and standing up to the world in making America first, the morons give the Democrats a chance to destroy that. I can’t see where lack of a proper education can cause that.

I believe we are on the beginning of a long decline that may take centuries to unfold.

I think you are ignoring the acceleration of the rate of change brought on by technology.

The Roman world was not much different from the world of a thousand years before, or of a thousand years later. But look at the changes in the last two hundred years; or one hundred years. My Dad was born into a world that transported goods to market via steam engines and wagons drawn by draft animals. Electricity was a novelty. Most Americans lived without indoor plumbing and used gas or oil lights. Airplanes and automobiles were new and novel innovations. Radio as entertainment did not exist and TV did not become common until he was in his forties.

When I was a kid, the milk was delivered by a man in a white uniform with a peaked cap and a bow tie. We got our vegetables from a horse drawn wagon that came around the neighborhood; meat at the butcher shop and bread from the bakery (Where day-old bread was cheaper). There were no supermarkets or shopping malls. Our telephone was a party line for years and I was 18 the first time I saw a color TV. I was 47 years old when I first heard the term "Internet".

Our way of life is not just changing. The rate of change is accelerating exponentially. That is very scary for a lot of folks, especially my contemporary geezers.

I agree that without America, humanity is doomed.

Listening the Hannity last night about Snipes made me realize how much is at stake. If America’s voting integrity falls apart, it basically becomes Mexico. A nation where law and representation does not exist.

Mexico has everything America has to be a great nation. But isn’t. Because the foundation of law, true representation, and stability does not exist.

If that happens our obsession with stock portfolios will be a laughable relic of the past. Think World War Z. Except slower. It all will come crumbling down.

They are being educated. The constant drumbeat of all forms of media in this country is indoctrinating them.

Heh. In my county you don’t even need a building permit to build a house. You do need an inspection of any septic system, though. And if you are borrowing money, the bank may require inspections. And really, that’s the way it should be - free markets at work.

I put up a large shed when we first moved here, a 40x25 deck on the house, a smaller on on the back of the house, and am about to finish up a 36x36 sheet metal garage. All without permits.

BTW, all of the streams around here eventually go down to flat-rock. The gravel just moves around on it. Sometimes, when the flow is weak, the water flows under the gravel (which is one to two feet thick). The stream disappears and re-appears after 50 feet of gravel.

1,000 times worse when young people are brain-washed and dumbed-down for 12-16 years by Marxists intent on doing so and in full control of our gov. education (brain-washing) system, pumping out MILLIONS of idiots every year who are very close to overwhelming us.

Trump was a God-given reaction to Obama, and the leftist pendulum is swinging back to where the Dems will never again give up control.

We are becoming a smaller minority every day. NO, I don’t think our public will mind the next 2 years of the Dems investigations.....and there will not be a reaction in 2020 to them. The Marxist media will ensure they look good, and that Trump cannot be re-elected.

Read the handwriting on the wall - even considering all the voter fraud, having TX, FL & GA so close to blue is not a trend that will be reversed. Add to that the recovered blue-ness of the Rust Belt, and the Marxists have it almost nailed down.........apart from another Divine Intervention.....

I agree. I’m doing what I can with my two now-fervently needed projects, though I sense it’s too late, and actually has been too late since the Tech Commies essentially control all human communication and (soon) finances. It may be time to start creating hard copies en masse of the history of Western Civilization, particularly U.S. history, before it gets “reimagined” in ways that cannot be undone.

You make a really good point with regard to technology. Our demise might be hastened by the speed of innovation.

There is some good news with regard to technology though, especially with the resurgence of rocket launches, especially by private companies (with the requisite government subsidies of course!)

What I see happening before the ultimate crash is something like the Renaissance period where national loyalty was much less important than being a member of some court. Billionaires like Bezos, Brin, Gates, etc. are more citizens of the world than red-blooded Americans. They and those that follow in their footsteps may achieve great things as long as they can keep the Muzzies on the outside of the gates and the SJWs from dumbing down the workforce they need to implement their grand plans.

One other thing about the pace of technological change. In the past, since things didn't change that much during a person's lifetime, when someone got old they could be expected to know things and have acquired some wisdom about how to get along in the world. That is no longer the case. Who's going to ask Grandpa for help with their smart phone? Now Grandpa is thought of mostly as a future financial burden and time sump as he ages. And before that he is treated like a child and expected to spend his golden years just playing games and being entertained and trying to keep out of the way of the serious people making the big bucks.

Well, not to judge; but you seem to be turning your back on the millions of patriotic and faithful Americans who are still fighting the good fight.

You may need some education in inspiring the troops and populace:
