Still wondering about the bomb threat.

If true, the entire authority automatically goes to DHS and FBI at airports (TSA). Local LEO stands by and awaits instructions.

It appears the sheriff shut-down the airport and did not cede authority to DHS/FBI.

Secondarily, does the local sheriff have the authority to shut down an entire airport and NOT involve TSA/FBI over a “suspicious package”?
