Don’t remember what the seedling greens are called—but if you had seeds & a grow light, you could have lettuce substitutes that had far more food value, vitamins & minerals etc.

Except for lettuce and green beans, I hate green stuff. I know that sprouts are nutritious, but I don’t really like them. We do grow a lot of our food now. I can, freeze, and dehydrate stuff for the winter, but some things I just like fresh.

I also buy 20-40 lbs of meat on sale and then pressure can it. Good to eat out of the jar, or make a casserole or soup. Cheaper and great for when the electricity goes out.
