Two decades on Free Republic! Thanks for an amazing journey that I hope is far from over.

So there I was on the Drudge Report because of the Monica scandal where I saw the link and clicked on it. I found myself on a chat site full of smart, mature people and interesting articles and conversations. I lurked for a few days then signed on November 1st, 1998. It's been an eventful two decades since. I got married, had a son, moved to Massachusetts, got divorced and made a run for the border where I now live in New Hampshire. My son attends American University in Washington, DC where he is a top student.
Oh, and this happened!

I’m celebrating too. I signed up November 1, 1998 - 20 years ago today - after lurking for a while.
It looks like a lot of us signed up then and probably found our way here because of Drudge.
