Great memory....

HOWEVER...Probably wouldn’t have happened today as Gibson probably would have been called out for interference or - at the least- the momentum would have been ‘broken’ for 10 minutes or so while INSTANT REPLAY(UGH!!) would have taken over.

AND the umpire and his ‘he had it stolen’ could have been overruled much as todays feats are etc....

Also, not that I knew anything about it but MOST of those mustaches made them look like ‘porn stars’...<: <: <:

My favorite baseball moment EVER!

What made it even more sweet was I was in a bar surrounded by A's fans. Little old me in my Dodger hat.

As Kirk hobbled up to the plate I chanted, "Kirk! Kirk! Kirk!"

When he cracked it, I was yelling so loud I drownded out poor Vinny.

I think the A's fans were dismayed. Haha.

AND to make it even better, I was driving to the bar and the game had already started. When Canseco parked one earlier in the game, I went crazy and my shades somehow came off and fell out the window. And I really liked those shades.

But Kirk made up for it.
