FYI. There is a Democrat that is tracking the Florida numbers and updating them every minute. Don’t know how to post the link. But if you google “Florida turnout Twitter “ you can follow the numbers. Republicans up by 50,000 votes now
No major trends in yesterday’s batch that I can really see. A decent chunk of votes in Palm Beach county that was trending about 1% more D than usual, but nothing very alarming.
Couple tidbits:
1) Republicans have returned 28% of VBM ballots received versus 23% for Democrats. This is why we are leading by 46k votes despite the fact more Democrats received VBM ballots. This is consistent (at least directionally) with 2014 and 2016 trends.
2) Since yesterday, Republicans requested 10,200 (41% of total) VBM ballots versus 8,100 (33%) for the Democrats.
Don’t be announcing it! The RATs are now in the back rooms of the union halls marking thousands of mail-in ballots to offset them! Don’t want them to know how many they need!
I don’t believe these early numbers published by the SoS include a few of the red counties that were affected by the hurricane. This is published on FL’s election page:
NOTICE: Due to Hurricane Michael, the following affected counties have been unable to report for the 2018 General Election since October 9, 2018: Bay, Calhoun, Franklin, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Liberty, Washington. As offices open and services are restored, information will be posted once available.
I know Gov Scott signed an EO yesterday giving these counties more opportunities to absentee and early vote.
Mid-Morning adjustment of “Florida, Mail-In” voting activity.
Republicans in three hours increased their lead over Democrat “Mail-In” ballots from 45,474 votes to 46,104, votes, a 630 Mail-In vote lead.
As “early voting” days begin early next week, we should have a good idea of how this race is shaping up by next Friday, one week from today.
GOP Mail-In voters, keep them ballots coming at the fast pace you are now moving at. Every vote for DeSantis counts!!! Democrat, Andrew Gillum must be politically destroyed, along with the entire Democrat Party in Florida and across the entire nation!!!
