Gosnell Movie Hits Hard

I went to the red carpet premiere of "Gosnell" tonight, at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills -- within shrieking distance of many bastions of showbiz liberalism: talent agencies, law firms, movie studios. But the film itself was made without the support of the entertainment-industrial complex. In fact, it was financed largely by small donors on social media. It tells the tale, in deadpan policier fashion, of the investigation and trial of Kermit Gosnell, an abortionist who initially attracted the attention of law enforcement not because he was killing born-alive infants, but rather because his unlicensed staff members were purchasing too many medications. Since at least one adult female died in his care, as well as many born-alive infants, he is eventually tried -- and convicted -- of murder. The filmmakers rely upon police and court records to tell this story, in restrained and even-handed fashion. It is not a screed. And despite the disturbing subject matter, it is not graphic. It leaves conclusions to the minds of the audience. Well written (by Andrew Klavan, Phelim McAleer and Ann McElhinney) and crisply directed (by Nick Searcy), "Gosnell" is a motion picture that deserves the support of the FReeper community. It opens in theaters nationwide this Friday.

THANK YOU for helping to get this movie out there, hopefully MANY, MANY, will see it we must change hearts and minds AND I believe we are headed in that direction already!!! WE will always have a problem in inner city areas HOWEVER outside of those areas minds are changing!!!!!

this was a legal abortion clinic which was just as bad as a back alley illegal clinic

People who did illegal abortions were quite careful of their patients health as any thing going wrong would expose them.
