Last week marked the return of two sitcoms, Murphy Brown and Last Man Standing.
Both shows have had their own interesting journeys. Murphy Brown was on the air for ten years and was seen by many as a landmark for how women were represented on television. Reboots are all the rage these days in Hollywood, but as Candice Bergen has repeatedly pointed out, her show wouldnt have been revived if it werent for the election of President Donald Trump and part of her goal is to restore respect for the press.

Sort of worth a ping.

Candace Bergman was always an unattractive leftwing shill.
I’ve actually never really liked Tim Allen shows either. But, Candace Bergen is the worst.
She was actually a fashion model in her youth.
It’s not a brilliant sitcom, although it has its moments. And it’s a little bit more creative than his previous effort.
I think Last Man Standing appeals to the typical working-class guy. Murphy Brown? It’s a political comedy and fits to a very limited audience. I think Tim’s show might survive for three more seasons. Murphy Brown? It’ll be lucky to survive the entire season.
Yeah I remember. Her front side looked like her backside and her face wasn’t so great either
Starred in that stupid epic “The Wind and the Lion” among others.
His first show was o.k. The Second, not really.
I enjoyed some of his movies. Just not his TV stuff. I’ve seen him interviewed and he seems like a nice guy - unlike Candice Bergen.
I just don’t find the TV shows funny
I can’t imagine why its never occurred to the MSM news to be more respectable... if what they truly want is respect.
... instead what we get is Hillary Clinton making jokes about the felonies she’s committed.
“... instead what we get is Hillary Clinton making jokes about the felonies shes committed.”
And this Sunday, CBS will bring you a Hillary redux on “Madame Secretary” as Tea Leoni decides to run for President...fun times, for sure. Really ought to cement that “blue wave” for November, right???
So a fake comedy show is what libtards believe they need to restore faith in the actual American liberal gynocentric press.
That’s like counting on Brokeback Mountain to convince the population homosexuality is really a super thing to do on a camping trip.
Amazing that I don’t miss cutting the TV cord.
...restore respect for the press.
Never. Going. To. Happen.
I saw Murphy Brown last week and I’m not going to watch it again... Hollywood reboots are boring...Murphy Brown is trash...
I suspect someone at NBC is waking up today to the realization that Fox by itself has more views than the rest combined. They are GIVING Fox a monopoly on conservative viewers with no competition what so ever. It IS a business. Imagine what happens when there are TWO conservative options. Begin to see the world as bigger possibilities for deal making. Deal making is not always about money or real estate.
