Her voice, forgetfulness and fragile appearance just doesn’t square with her education, position, and career...JMHO

Agreed, she makes statements like this:

"Just basic memory functions and also just the level of norepinephrine and
the epinephrine in the brain that sort of, as you know, encodes that
neurotransmitter that codes memories into the hippocampus and so the
trauma-related experience is locked there whereas other details kind of drift."

But doesn't know the meaning of "exculpatory".... Duh..

It all makes perfect sense if you merely observe that she's been reading a script prepared by others for most of the past month....and especially today.

Just get her off script and everything goes to **** for her.

I’m not defending the truthfulness/falsity of her testimony, but I do think it’s entirely possible to understand a lot of science words and not know what “exculpatory” means.

My science vocabulary is much better than my legal vocabulary.

I have to say, though, that her science-y talk doesn’t sound like it came from someone who understands it. It sounds (to me) like someone who has memorized some stuff with big words and can regurgitate it without really understanding what she’s saying.

“Sort of, as you know” ? Really?

I don’t think that is established science - that memories are encoded like that. I think memory formation is still very much a mystery. Appreciate corrections if I’m wrong.
