It’s a pia to deal with claustrophobia and anxiety, which I experience in the worst way when it comes to flying. It’s part of why I’m infuriated listening to her yammer about not wanting to fly yet goes all over to enjoy vacation. She’s full of crap, I haven’t been on a plane in decades. There is nothing I’d enjoy more than returning to Italy with my kids but my anxiety can’t handle it.
I can understand her POV. I flew to some Star Trek conventions, but would NEVER fly for work. My theory was that they didn’t pay combat pay. So they sent me coast to coast 3-4x per year for a decade by train. Since I retired, I’ve never been on a plane, and doubt I ever will be.
That’s ok, she’s also making a mockery of anybody that got raped in high school.
