There is nothing I’d enjoy more than returning to Italy with my kids but my anxiety can’t handle it.
Could you go by ship? A longer trip, but it gets you there.

That’s very sweet, but sadly my anxiety is central to feeling trapped. The non flying is not in anyway related to fear but rather the trapped/claustrophobic sensation. So, though I haven’t tried, I’m of the belief that the claustrophobia would be intense...sigh
