Something nonpolitical for a Sunday.
And here are the top 10 TV shows on their list (your mileage may vary):
1. The Sopranos
2. Seinfeld
3. I Love Lucy
4. All in the Family
5. The Twilight Zone
6. The Wire
7. The Mary Tyler Moore Show
8. M*A*S*H
9. Breaking Bad
10. The Simpsons

Piece of garbage at number one.
Knew it’d be a nonsense liberal list.

Overall, not a bad list. I would have added, Newhart along with The Bob Newhart Show.

I Love Lucy should be #1 because it did things other shows didn't do at the time: it was shot on film and used three cameras like a real movie production.

‘The Sopranos’ was a compelling TV series, very intense. But it was also vulgar and inhumane, from top to bottom. So yeah, I’ll agree with you there.

I Love Lucy could not be made in today’s times. A ditzy wife married to a relatively level-headed husband? The scriptwriters would be tarred and feathered.

If it doesn't have "Bonanza" in the top five, it ain't a real list.

I would add "Game of Thrones" primarily because of how it took television production to a new level in today's age of the affordable massive-screen HDTV.
To watch GoT on a 65" 4k TV with a some theater surround sound is just a wonder to behold. This is part of what's killing the movies. They just can't compete with this.

“Death Valley Days” told the definitive American morality tales and influenced many. List was compiled by leftist editors.

Yes, I Love Lucy should be number one and the Dick Van Dyke Show before Mary Tyler Moore. Need Taxi as well.
