Back in 2004, John Kerry and George W. Bush squared off in their second debate. In one question, an audience member asked whether her tax dollars would be used to support abortion. Kerry gave a rambling, two-minute answer that ended with the affirmative. Bush stood up, walked over to her, and said directly to her, "Your tax dollars will not be used to support abortion."
The next day was "Respect Life" Sunday for the Catholic Church. Not even a mention by the priest although he certainly discussed the issue of life.
Kerry would go on to lose the election... but with half of the Catholic vote nationwide.
I have tried to find video of this exchange--can't find it by searching. Not available on the Debate homepage. I have searched for video of any democrats advocating abortion (I've seen it before)--can't find it through searches. YouTube and Google give me a lot of videos about Democrats welcoming pro-life candidates to the fold... which is bunk if you ask the candidates themselves who are shunned by local parties. There has been a purge of such videos from the internet, it seems.
My purpose is to expose the Democrats on this fundamental issue for Catholics. We are ¼ of the electorate nationwide and as much as ⅓ in NY and CA. If the Church were to finally turn on the Democrats, they wouldn't win local dogcatcher until they stop supporting the culture of death... until they stop being who they are now.
PLEASE HELP ME. If you have video you can share or know where to find it, please share it with me. I'm working on a message on this subject to share with the bishops. Seeing it come directly from the mouths of the Democrats is hard to ignore or refute.
Thank you. Not looking for just this one video. Hoping to find Pelosi, Schumer and the lot of them discussing abortion.
