10 minutes of free kicks. Then they can play the rest of this ridiculous “game”.

>>Welcome to Planet Earth...<<

The fact something is popular worldwide doesn’t make it good. Look at socialism.

The reason soccer is popular worldwide is it is cheap to play.

Or are you also saying we should watch Cricket since it is also popular worldwide? At least Cricket is so complicated and silly it is interesting.

The fact remains the video I posted pretty much covers it.

Methinks the freeper doth protest too much.

The video is dead on.

Sorry I destroyed your “if it is popular in the world it must be good” argument.

I will remember in the future how sensitive you are.

World Champs of soccer....

2006 Italy
2010 Spain
2014 Germany.

Yeah, I guess I’d rather watch the best athletes in the NFL (sarcasm off).

I like the new format. Better, more competitive games and it gives teams in the lower leagues to move up (or down).

Your comparison with socialism is plain dumb. We are talking here about sport/entertainment.
Almost as dumb as your childish video, that I would expect from a ten year old.

Sorry soccer makes you angry.

Agreed. This new League will only enhance development on the national level and make more teams competitive.

LOL. So popularity is based on how cheap it is to play? I guess that explains why expensive sports like American football are not popular.

I can never understand why soccer haters feel compelled to get on these threads and attack both the game and its supporters. You can be a fan of all sports. It is a win-win proposition.

Soccer is the world's most popular sport because of its universal appeal. The fans love the game, their teams, and the tradition. It is another legacy of the Brits who gave us golf and tennis as well as the antecedents of football and baseball. Lighten up.
