(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either satire or opinion. Or both.)

That they had hemp in their teeth does not make them stoners.

One of the best things that science gave us was modern dentistry. I have a couple of implants that feel 100% like regular teeth.

If they weren’t chewing that loco weed, they would have invented the wagon and not had to drag everything across the prairie on sticks!

The hemp plant for fiber is not the same as a hemp plant for THC (stoners). There is cannabis ruderalis (hemp), cannabis sativa (THC), and cannabis indica (THC). There are also various hybrids that produce mostly or nearly exclusively the medicinal CBD. Cannabis ruderalis has essentially no THC and if you smoked it you'd probably either feel nothing or get a headache.

Unsurprising, I have them from biting sewing thread off.
Processing hemp with your teeth though would be miserable, raw hemp fiber is prickly and rough.

Of course. This wasn’t from the ‘stoned age’. It was from the Bronze Age.

Hemp fibers were used to make rope for thousands of years

Figures that it's the teeth of the women so affected, bronze age man was busy smelting and making weapons...hemp has a very long history, I guess it was woven into cloth long before the Bronze Age and long before sheep were domesticated and shorn...
Grown in the US for its many uses, one of which was fuel oil. A very useful plant.
