Trump has always been trying to do whatever is best for America. McCain was always out to do whatever was best For John McCain.
A quick dip and back to full mast works for me. Anyone know where in the “flag protocol” it states duration for half mast?
It’s a trap. If Trump says something lauding McCain, he’s a hypocrite. If he drops the flags to half staff, he’s a hypocrite. Trump is handling this the way I handled the death of a nasty manager where I worked. I said and did nothing beyond what was required. I didn’t send flowers or a card. No, “what-a-wonderful-guy,” no, “I’m-glad-he’s-gone,”...just move on.
The flags at the White House, which were lowered over the weekend to mark the death of Sen. John McCain, are back at full-staff.

I had to turn off Fox News because it was making me sick. Like a predictable parade of LOSERS all pontificating on the great hunk of humanity that used to be John McCain - Jeff Flake (check), Susan Collins (check), Chuckie Schumer (check). If it’s true that you can tell the worth of a man by his enemies, the true worth of John McCain becomes evident by his so-called “friends” - and that worth and ten cents will get you a dime.

There should be a hologram at 5000:1 size projected of McCain’s face over the White House at night for a month. Right? I mean, he tried to run for President while stepping aside for someone with mocha skin and all.
Obama ordered our flags lowered way too much which is why I called him our Half-Mast President.

They are looking for something to criticize Trump on. They know that he didn’t get along with McCain, and are using every opportunity to stir up the controversy.
This will be all over TV until the burial, then 24, 48 hrs afterwards, then 1 month, then 1 year, then 6 years, until Trump is out of office.
