Technically, the AZ primary can be ignored now as there will be a replacement named soon.

Not so. There are two AZ senate seats in play at the moment. With Flake leaving at the end of his 6-year term, one senate seat opened up. That's what the primary is for.

No Name's death opened up another senate seat, for the remaining 4+ year's of his term. After the funeral, Governor Ducey will appoint a new senator to that seat.
