This jerk gave me 13.5% mortgage interest in 1980 when I had to build my house myself to be able to afford it. One of my bucket list items is to make it to his presidential library so I can write in the guest book what a jerk he is and then leave. He cost me thousands extra in mortgage interest in the 1980’s that I would like to have used for family vacations, etc. What a moron.

Most of the wealthy people I know live this sort of life.

People in to do the difficult stuff, but they cope and enjoy the day to day.

He is in fact a mean spirited man. Also an inveterate liar.

“Reagan’s predecessor Jimmy Carter, meanwhile, has a current estimated net worth of $7 million—just $4.7 million more than he when he left office 35 years ago. Jimmy Carter has written 29 books, the profits of which reportedly represent a substantial chunk of his net worth.Mar 23, 2017”

In Sourh Georgia this is a huge amount of money. It makes them as they were before his political run one of the richest families in South Georgia.

Sorry, but both Bush’s were far worse.

Carter was a bad president because he was incompetent. Both Bush”s were deresdful presidents because they hate our country and wish to destroy our sovereignty

And how does Obama live? And where did the money come from?

Should have never been President of the United States. Did not have the temperament, political savvy, ideology, or insights to lead the nation at a critical time. He at one point in his Presidency when he “went to the mountain” was overtly schizophrenic.

Reagan spent much of his time in office trying to undo all the harm caused by Jimmah.

I’m sure he’s a great guy on a personal level.

Unfortunately, he was willing to impose his humility on the rest of us.

Even though I voted for the Bushes in 88, 92, 00 & 04, I’m kinda tempted to agree with you. As incompetent as Carter was (and he was very incompetent), the Bushes truly did do more damage to the country with their New-World-Order crap. Look at it this way... the Carter Admin set the stage for the election of Reagan while the Bushes set the stage for the Clintons and Obama.

Every time I think of Carter I think of gas lines.

I think of the over 800 employees who lost their jobs at my company's manufacturing plant in Detroit when we were forced to sell off a division of our plant to another company down south.......

Other than Obama the peanut man was the most incompetent president in American history.

Jimmah Carter is a mean-spirited liar and has spent his ex-presidential days taking a wrecking ball to our foreign policy under Republican presidents and making it clear he hates Israel and loves Arab savages in Gaza.

I hate him far worse than I hate Obama who was nothing but a stooge for globalism and indifference to America’s interests.

I’m happy that he enjoys living modestly but he didn’t have to drag the nation down to enjoy it with him.
