What? TEXOKIE already has. Can you not see the Qanteen layout that TEXOKIE has ‘drawn’?
I see it clearly in my minds eye. To me it is a large rustic lodge in the mountains, pond, large fields of grass, roses near the open window (I can still smell the roses), neighbor kids in the background playing at the waters edge of the pond. Some scattered oak trees in the field that can be seen from the Quiet room that TEXOKIE, has set aside.
In the Qanteen, as you come in from searching bunny holes to the right is an open kitchen, with a large counter. behind the counter is the double stove, with two ovens and an industrial but porcelain double sink. Walking past the counter and into the main room is the Steinway on the left (TEXOKIE is busy digging in a rabbit hole). sschev grabs a sammich and a warm up of covfefe for TEXOKIE on his way to a bean bag chair to catch up on the days events.
In the middle of the main room is the main table with seats enough for all the FreeQ’s.
From the entrance looking through the main room is Yuge bay windows with wonderful views of the Rocky Mountains, wheat fields in the near ground. Forests off to the left and right. Deer and Elk if you pay attention grazing in the evenings.
On the right side of the main room is a large fireplace capable of holding 4 foot long logs. Old barn wood floors with beautiful deep pile throw rugs artfully placed. In the middle of the main room is a large reQtanular table for FreeQ’s to discuss all manners of information, Q or even Qilts.
Upstairs there are rooms enough for all. We take care of our own laundry and always bring in groceries. We are not loafers, we will share in the toils when stopping by the Qanteen for a visit.

Ah, you want a physical picture. I’m not sure I would agree. We need to use our noodles and create the picture. It is a wonderful mental exercise to create our own pictures for critical thinking. If we cannot create our own picture, how can we decide for ourselves? I think I understand what you are asking, but I don’t agree with your request.
Our society is already ‘dumbed down’ (not being derogatory) with the lack of critical thinking. As soon as we add a picture we stop visualizing.

It makes total sense in as much as the dark side would have a hell of a lot more trouble acquiring a nuclear vessel AND non nuclear subs are quieter than nuclear due to not having cooling pumps in continuous operation. The main problem with non nuclear is that the best ones that don’t need to surface for battery charging only have a maximum of 20-25 days of in motion at 5-7 kts under water endurance. That translates to maybe 200 miles a day, 2000 in 20.

Given that, they would need some sort of cover to refuel unless they are on a 1 way mission and their origination point is within 2000 miles of a possible west coast target.

I understood your points your first msg. What you seem to fail to understand or give due weight to is that some folks genetically have great difficulty visualizing as you insist they must. So, without a tangible pic, you rob them of a blessed experience.

If there were a pic, even those of us gifted in visualization could still 'do our own thing' version on our own.
